Welcome to Somerset Neuropsychological Services
Thank you for visiting; the goal of this site is to offer information about this practice (Somerset Neuropsychological Services) as well as more general educational information about Neuropsychology, brain illness and injuries.
Services offered include:
- Neuropsychological consultation, education and testing
- Psychotherapy and rehabilitation counseling
- Psychological testing and consultation
In addition to a cognitive-behavioral orientation toward managing changes that can occur after neurological conditions occur in what is often called Rehabilitation Counseling and psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral and other useful approaches are also applied in individual therapy, with persons typically between 20 and 80 (or above), to help the person recognize and manage stress, anxiety and other maladaptive symptoms sometimes triggered by daily life.
Please read the additional information on the other pages of this site to learn more about what is offered, and more generally, point you toward educational material to better understand psychological and neuropsychological services.
Also, I have added and included information to help you learn about and link to the NJ disability and brain injury communities, in particular. And to keep you informed, to be your own best advocate, I've added information about coping with sometimes complicated health insurance issues.
I hope you find the site informative; if you have questions, comments or concerns, please reach out to me via email or by calling.
Thanks for taking the time to visit.
